WILSHERE on Bournemouth move

The England international has revealed that a chat with Eddie Lowe was all that was required for him to make up his mind.

Jack Wilshere starts life at Bournemouth
He said on twitter, "I had a good chat with the manager and feel sure that this is the best place for me to play and develop this season. I am looking forward to working hard every day with the coaching staff and my new teammates to help the club achieve success on the pitch."

He revealed that he received over 20 bids from different clubs across the globe but chose Bournemouth because the coach understands his plight having retired from football at the age of 29 himself.

Howe said, "We met and had a good football talk. We talked about the club and various different things that you go through. I am obviously delighted that he chose us ahead of a number of other clubs and I think he will do really, really well for the team."

"I think it is a big thing for us. It is a step into the unknown in the respect that Jack is out there on his own in terms of his profile and the type of player we have attracted."
