FERGUSON backs Juve for Champions League win

The former Old Trafford gaffer has thrown his weight in support of Juventus winning the Champions League this season.

Juve are drawn in Group H against Sevilla, Lyon and Dinamo Zagreb in which they are due to play Sevilla on the 14th of this month.

He believes they have the quality to challenge the top dogs pitting them as the only team with the power to challenge the Spanish teams not ruling out Ancelotti's Bayern though.

He also praised Massimiliano Allegri saying he has been particularly impressed the the Juve boss.

He said, “Football is a matter of cycles, and at this time Barcelona and Real Madrid have something more than the others, but I think that Juventus, like Bayern Munich, can be one of those teams capable of winning anything, even the Champions League."

“A strong point [for Juve] is Massimiliano Allegri, he is a great coach, another is the stadium, it is very beautiful and that is a rarity in Italy.”
