RAFFAEL suffers injury setback

It has been confirmed by Borussia Mochengladbach that Brazilian midfielder Raffael has suffered a new injury after recovering from an adductor problem.

“This was due to a strain in his right adductor muscle, meaning this injury is not linked to his last one,” in a statement released on the club's official website. 

He left the field some minutes after half-time after sustaining the hamstring injury against Barcelona in the mid-week. Raffael missed Gladbach’s last two Bundesliga matches against Leipzig and Ingolstadt and is now expected to miss Sunday's match against Schalke 04.

It is yet to be known of the number of weeks that he will be out.
