SUPER Eagles camp swell up


Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa were the early birds in camp and a minimum of thirteen players will take part in the team's first training session on Tuesday morning having arrived the Bolton White Hotel camp.

The players in camp as at 22:00 hours include : Musa Muhammed, Eddy Onazi, Daniel Akpeyi, Odion Ighalo, Kelechi Iheanacho, Alex Iwobi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Leon Balogun, Kenneth Omeruo, Wilfred Ndidi, Moses Simon, Kingsley Madu and Uche Agbo.

The Nigeria Football Federation have announced that there will be two training sessions tomorrow at 10:00 hours and 17:00 hours on the practice pitch of the Abuja National Stadium in preparation for the clash against Algeria. The 23-man squad are expected to depart for match venue Uyo on Thursday.


Tuesday’s training will be open to the media and fans of the Super Eagles. Also, Olympiakos striker Brown Ideye and Chelsea wing-back Victor Moses have arrived in camp. Nigeria are top of their qualifying table after they beat hosts Zambia 2-1 in Ndola last month and Algeria were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Cameroon.
