Brazil 3-0 Argentina: Neymar, Coutinho steal the show

With both teams cautious with their approach in the opening minutes, it was Coutinho who brought the game to life rifling home a 20-yard effort past a helpless Sergio Romero in the 25th minute.

Seven minutes before the interval, Neymar almost put more misery on Argentina who barely had a sniff of the goal hitting the outside of the post after wriggling past many of his markers.

Then the hammer blow, Jesus played a superb pass to put Neymar through on goal and he duly found the net when one-on-one with Romero for his 50th international goal.

The third of the night came through Paulinho when Marcelo's cross went uncleared, allowing Augusto to square from the right for Paulinho to finish in an awfully quiet day for Lionel Messi- Tite kept his promise.

It makes it five out of five forTite as Brazil lead the pack with their next trip away to Peru.
