Manchester City are in the dark as they are made to wait to know the extent of goalkeeper Claudio Bravo’s leg injury picked up during Chile’s World Cup qualifier against Colombia.

Bravo took a knock early in the game after a challenge with Miguel Borja, but was able to continue after treatment and kept his side in the match with two impressive saves. The second half saw get another heavy tackle when trying to stop the marauding Santiago Arias as he raced into the penalty area for a perfectly-timed challenge, but Arias’ follow through left the goalkeeper in pain.
Again he continued, but on the hour he was replaced by Johnny Herrera needing further treatment. He could be fit for Chile’s next qualifier with Uruguay on Tuesday, and City’s upcoming Premier League trip to Crystal Palace after the break.
