TRAPP on the brink of exit

Kevin Trapp reportedly wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain at the earliest opportunity according to Bild. The 26-year-old German goalkeeper enjoyed a decent debut season at Parc des Princes, making 35 league appearances, and he began the current campaign as the number one goalkeeper.

However, Alphonse Areola has taken over from Trapp following the poor start of the season quickly establishing himself between the sticks and Trapp has reportedly grown frustrated by the lack of playing time at the Capital.

German media outlet Bild claims that he could leave the club in the January window, but it remains to be seen whether PSG chiefs would be prepared to sell. After Salvatore Sirigu had joined Sevilla on a season-long loan, the Parisans only have two quality goalkeepers in their ranks and they would only consider selling Trapp if they find a suitable replacement.
