The Swede's agent has confirmed that he joined United despite a lucrative deal offered by a Chinese club. A deal reported to be worth €100m was waved by Ibrahimovic to continue his career at the top level as he still has the hunger to hunt for more trophies.
Mino Raiola told Italian newspaper Il Giornale: “Ibrahimovic is the best. He turned down €100m net from the Chinese. He doesn’t want more money, he wants to win. I’ve been lucky, I’ve always had champions. Zlatan, [Pavel] Nedved, Maxwell and now [Blaise] Matuidi and [Gianluigi] Donnarumma.”

He also reserved praise for Mario Balotelli and pionted out that the Italian could have won the Ballon d'Or five good times if he had Zlatan's zeal because of his obvious talent.
“Mario is a phenomenon, but he’s Balotelli,” He said.
“He suffered a lot when he was a child, and he’s always been that way in the head. If he had the mentality of Zlatan, with his talent he’d have won five Ballon d’Or.”
Zlatan joined United on a free from PSG after the expiration of his contract, Balotelli also joined OGC Nice in a similar move after his release by Liverpool.
