SCHNEIDERLIN'S Tottenham deal collapsed

Tottenham were linked to a deadline day move for French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin but the move collapsed after United refused to sell the player.

Mourinho opted to keep him at Old Trafford despite having enough cover in the midfield department. He has only played 5 minutes in the current campaign.

The 26-year old was a part of the French team that lost the Euros final failing to play a single minute at the tournament after being originally left out of the squad.


He has played 41 time for United with one goal to his credit. He could be set for his first start this season in the Manchester derby after Fellaini sustained n injury during the team's 1-0 win over Hull City.
