RONALDO back in Portugal squad

The Portuguese captain has been named in Portugal's squad to play the next qualifier matches against Andorra and the Faroe Islands. He has been out since the knee injury at the finals of the Euros but has already started playing at club level.

Coach Santos said, “It is stronger because it has Cristiano Ronaldo, it’s stronger, mainly because the other players have more minutes, more work, more training. That was one of the problems in the first qualifier with Switzerland.”

Portugal have won one Gilbratar and Lost one against Sitzerland in the absence of their Star man.
