ALLARDYCE quits job

Sam Allardyce has left his post as the Three Lions coach after just a game in charge. Both the FA and Allardyce agreed to mutually terminate the deal with immediate effect after improper conduct by the former Blackburn gaffer.

In a message posted on The FA's official website, it said:
"This is not a decision that was taken lightly but The FA's priority is to protect the wider interests of the game and maintain the highest standards of conduct in football. The manager of the England men's senior team is a position which must demonstrate strong leadership and show respect for the integrity of the game at all times."

He has accepted the errors of his ways as the FA is there to protect the interest of the team. Gareth Southgate will take charge of the men's senior team for the next four matches against Malta, Slovenia, Scotland and Spain as The FA begins its search for a new England manager.
