SEALED: SIGURDSSON sign new Swansea deal

The Iceland international has inked a new deal

at the Stadium of Light. The deal puts the rumour of his switch to Everton to bed. He would stay with Sunderland until the summer of 2020. Sigurdsson had a memorable Euro tournament with Iceland after reaching the quarterfinals defeating England at the second round. Sigurdsson scored 11 goals in 36 Premier League appearances for Swansea as they finished 12th last season.
