BELGIUM name Martinez as new coach

Roberto Martinez has been named as the new gaffer for the Belgian National team. The former Everton coach has replaced Marc Wilmots at the helms as he was sacked aater failing to live up to expectations as Euro 2016 pre tournament favourite tag.

Martinez was sacked by Everton last May after a forgettable campaign to bring the curtain down on his three year spell at the Goodison Park.

The former Wigan boss was dismissed with one game of the 2015-16 campaign remaining. The Spaniard is a Manager with a lot of experience, having spent a considerable amount of time in English football.
