SEALED: BARBOSA complete Inter move

Internazionale of Italy has acquired the service of Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Barbosa beating a host of European heavyweights to the punch amongst which were Leicester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and Serie A rivals Juventus. He moves to the San Siro on a five year deal from Santos joining the likes of wingers Joao Mario and Antonio Candreva and attacking midfielder Ever Banega as the club's new signings.

He stressed that he received no offers from United despite strong interests from the Old Trafford outfit he said;

"There weren't offers, but we did talk about partnerships… I talked to Manchester United, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid."

 Gabigol won gold with Brazil at the just conclude Rio Olympics, the first in their long history.
