Cristiano Ronaldo is looking forward to inking a new deal with
the Bernabeu club. He wants to commit his future to the club after returning from his holiday. "I spoke to the president [Florentino Perez] on the phone and when I get back to Madrid, we'll talk [over a new deal]," he said to AS. "Obviously it's something I want."
His current deal with the capital outfit expires in 2018.
"This season has been the best of my career," he added.
"I won two major titles, with my club and country, so it was something unique."
It was a very emotional moment to win the Undecima. Winning the trophy is incredible, every time I look at it I see the memories of when I won it for the first time with Manchester United as well as my triumphs with Madrid"
Ronaldo is Madrid's all time leading goal scorer. He says this season has been the best of his career after winning the Champions League and the European Championship.
