Spanish justice minister Rafael Catala has blasted
Barcelona's social-media campaign to support Lionel Messi over hia tax fraud charge. He pointed out that the club is trying to "minimise [Messi's] liability established by a court". Barcelona created a #WeAreAllLeoMessi hashtag to support their Goal king but the Spanish Justice seem to be having none of it saying, "I'm not Messi, I have not committed a tax offence and therefore I do not feel... and do not think many Catalans and Barca fans agree with such an approach." Lionel Messi has been sentenced to 21-months in prison after he was found guilty of the charges. The Barcelona player is set to appeal the ruling.
