FLYING EAGLES lose AFCON ticket

The Nigerian U-20 team have lost 4-3 to their Sudanese counterpart
at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos. They would not be participating in the forthcoming tournament slated for Zambia.
Amghd Ahmed cancelled out Samuel Chukwueze’s opener in the 21st minute. Bamgboye restored Flying Eagles’ lead before Halid Abdamuleem pulled the visitors level to make it a first half two all draw.
Walladih Musa put the Young Falcons in front for the first time in the game on resuming the second half before being went off. Orji Okonkwo gave the hosts a respite with the equaliser twenty three minutes from the end making the most of the numerical advantage. However, Abdamuleem Halid had other plans as he struck the goal that all but confirmed Nigeria U-20 team's absence from the tournament in which they are the defending champions.
