EUROS UPDATES: GRIEZMANN dissembles German machine

France are through to the finals of the 2016 European Championship after
beating Germany by two goals. Griezmann scored a double to secure qualification. He scored the first from the penalty spot after a silly handball offense from veteran Schweinsteiger in first half's injury time. Germany felt the absence of a recognized centre forward with substitutions failing to have an impact on the game. In a match where Payet was  relatively subdued, Griezmann rose the occasion scoring the second after Neuer failed to hold on to a cross, subsequently kicking the ball in. He is now the highest goal scorer in t competition. With another tournament favourite eliminated, the stage is set for a mouthwatering finale against Portugal on Sunday.
