ROSE extends contract

Danny Rose has committed his future to Spurs. He has penned a five-year extension with the club and has expressed his delight.

The 26-year old has made 93 appearances for Spurs scoring seven times since he joined the club 9 years ago. “Everyone knows the club is heading in the right direction and I’m over the moon to sign up with the club and stay here until I’m an old man,” he told Spurs TV.

“It’s been a good couple of weeks with Dele (Alli), Eric (Dier), Christian (Eriksen) and Harry Winks all signing new contract.”

He added: “We all want to go out and prove that last season was not a one-off with us finishing third. Right now I am so happy, I am settled here, I am slowly turning into a southerner so I hope I can stay for a very long time and see where it takes me.At the minute I wouldn’t wish for anything more than to play for Spurs for the rest of my career.”
