SEALED: MUSTAFI joins Arsenal

The Valencia defender has finally finalised his purported move to the Gunners. The 24-year old has completed a long term move to the Emirates stadium for an undisclosed fee. His signing comes after Per Mertesacker and Gabriel Paulista both sustained injuries.

Wenger said on the new signing:

“He is at the right age. He has good experience. He is a very focused player who can play with the ball as well. We have taken a great player but have prepared well for the future.”

The centre-back becomes the club's 6th signing replacing Callum Chambers who has gone out on loan to Boro. Mustafi played 64 times for Valencia in his two year stint at the club. He coulb be set to make his debut against Southampton in Gunners' next EPL match.
