The Chelsea youngster has revealed how new coach is helping him develop
at the club. The midfielder has resolved that Conte has been trying to help players especially young ones improve for the upcoming season. “He is always trying to help you learn, doing video analysis,” he said in a chat with Goal.
“He tries to help you see even little details, about your body position.”
“He is always trying to help you learn whether you are alone as a player or with us [as a group] that’s one thing that I have really noticed and like about him.“We’ve got a different formation and we are working really hard at it, every day, double sessions, to try and get it into our heads.”
“The way we want to play and try to get used to all the movement and just try to be on the same wavelength, all of us on the pitch. So that’s the aim at the moment, but I am really enjoying working with the new boss and staff, it is exciting."
“It is good to see the manager that has that much passion on the sideline and I think he gives the players a boost then we all want to do well.”
On how he is coping with managerial change at Chelsea as Conte becomes his third manager.
He said, “It is good for me to see different managers, I have been at Chelsea and there have already been three managers, so it is good for me to learn and experience different managers, the way they work and, for me, I am in a great position to be working with Conte. I am really excited."
Chelsea play Liverpool in the ICC on July 27.
